Apple Pay

Merchants can leverage their Verifone NFC-capable terminals today to support the Apple Pay contactless payment solution running on iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 3, iPad mini 3 and Apple Watch.  Launched in October 2014, Apple Pay is already being supported at 200,000 retailers with Verifone terminals. Consumers with iPhone 6’s have Apple Pay pre-loaded and can quickly add payment types or link to their iTunes credit card on file. 


Google Wallet™

Verifone and Google Wallet have come together to make phone payments a reality. By the May 2011 launch date Verifone had enabled 12 of the 14 retailers accepting Google Wallet. Brands in the pilot included  American Eagle Outfitters,® Bloomingdale's,® Champs Sports,® Foot Locker,® GUESS,® Macy's,® Radio Shack,® The Container Store® and Toys "R" Us.®


MCX - Merchant Customer Exchange

Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX) was created by a group of the nation's leading merchants with a singular purpose:
Offering consumers a customer-focused, versatile and seamlessly integrated mobile-commerce platform.

Development of the mobile application is underway, with an initial focus on a flexible solution that will offer merchants a customizable platform with the features and functionality needed to best meet consumers' needs. The application will be available through virtually any smartphone.



Verifone is bringing alternative payments to millions of checkout lanes by enabling PayPal at large and mid-size merchants nationwide. By the May 2012 launch date, PayPal was relying on Verifone to enable 10 of the 12 Tier 1 merchants launching PayPal as a method of payment in their checkout lanes.
